Just when you think you know all there is to know about someone...

One great thing about my marriage to Jamie is that it's constantly evolving and never gets boring. We got Elise tucked into bed last night, and I came downstairs and curled up on the couch with my laptop. I've been wanting to burn a CD of my favorite Christmas songs, so I was playing around on iTunes searching for holiday music to include on my CD. Jamie came over and sat next to me and asked what I was doing. When I told him, he started making suggestions about songs I should include. He got on yahoo and did a search for the most popular Christmas songs - he was really into it! We ended up spending over an hour on the couch together listening to samples of a bunch of different versions of our favorite Christmas carols. I had no idea that my husband loves Christmas music as much as I do! I got a huge kick out of that. Once we had our playlist perfected, we burned 2 copies - one for his car and one for mine.

I would have never guessed that he would be interested in that! So, I learned something new about my love last night even after more than a year of marriage.
