O Christmas Tree!

We decorated our Christmas tree this weekend. Elise really enjoyed it and only broke 2 ornaments in the process, so I guess we will call that a success! I am not uploading all of the pictures into this entry, because I have included a bunch of them in my new slideshow at the top of the page and don't want to bore everyone by posting them twice.

We also went to Eric's 21st birthday celebration today and had a great time. Jamie & my dad really enjoy the company of Mark, Eric, and Ken - and of course mom and I always have fun chatting with Erin & Mary. Elise was excited to see Ethan again (we attended his 3rd birthday party last weekend). Pics of today's get together are also in the slideshow.

I can't believe how cold it is outside! I think the rain has made it feel even more chilly. We were planning on getting our outside decorating done tomorrow, but if this weather keeps up we will have to rethink things. I hate to put it off another week, but it's looking like a real possibility. That is okay if it happens. We will make the best of it! I just hate for the guys to do all that work for only a few weeks of enjoyment. We will probably try to keep it pretty simple this year. We are sitting on the couch admiring our tree, and I am reminded that it doesn't matter how little or how much else we get done. After all, the true meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with the decorations anyway!

Love the x-mas tree decorating. I can't wait to get a house, and then a tree. I agree...Christmas is really about family. Maybe thats why its my favorite!
